Performing Arts Centre

Our fundraising campaign to raise £1.5m started in earnest in 2013 and is going well, but we need your help if we are to reach our target to enable building work to begin in September 2014.

We need all our girls, parents, alumnae and friends of the school to get behind the fundraising campaign but there are lots of opportunities to have fun along the way!

Two of our major fundraising initiatives are our Donor Tree and our ‘Raise the Curtain Ball’.  Please take a look at the links on the left to find out more about how you can get involved.

There are many ways in which you can be part of this fundraising campaign, e.g. sponsorship or holding an event to raise funds. If you would like to know more, or have ideas you would like to discuss we would love to hear from you, so please ring Marie Soar, Director of Development on 0115 9354410 for an informal chat.

Links that last a lifetime

A big NGHS welcome to our alumnae pages!

We aim to keep strong ties with girls who attended our School. It’s wonderful to see how you progress after leaving us, and many of our former students are more than happy to come back and attend events or contribute to our alumnae magazine.

We’ve been working hard to develop our alumnae network over the last few years and we’re delighted at how many former pupils have got back in touch. If we don’t have your current details, we’d love to hear from you.

You can call us on (0115) 941 7663 or email Or you could head over to our Facebook page. It’s great for catching up with current school activities and getting back in touch with old classmates.

Even better, come back and see us – for a visit, a tour, a cup of coffee or just a chat. We can always make time to catch up, so just give us a ring to arrange a time.

Like our Facebook page to receive information on events and the latest news.

Alumnae Contact Form
